1946 AJS 500

Hanging out at Throttle Roll 2014 around 9:30pm, young Roger Pimblott playing with his phone and possibly heavily intoxicated looks at me and says "I think i bid on and just won an AJS". He sure did and not a bad score to say the least.

Rogers' regular ride is a Yamaha SR so jumping on one of these old bikes is quite a contrast. Roger tells us that it goes great and sounds so sweet!

Triumph 650 bobber takes best Rat Bike at Rat n' Rod day 2014

Steve Carris built this awesome Triumph 650 bobber a couple of years ago using a stack of parts proudly supplied by us here at Trojan Classic Motorcycles. Last year Steve reluctantly had to sell his bike due to personal issues (we've all been there) but fortunately it fell into good hands. New owner James tells us that he couldn't be happier with the bike and appreciates all the hard work Steve put into it.

When James rode out to Taren Point for Rat n' Rod day 2014 he didn't expect to get best Rat Bike, in fact he didn't even know he'd won until we told him.

Loads of custom parts including a complete rigid frame with 4" stretch and 2.5" drop, TFMW springer front end, Hap Jones repro petrol tank, high left 1 3/4" headers, domed centre fill oil tank, custom brass kickstart and gear lever, 16" rear and 21" front avons, Arion Pacific Industries 5 3/4" Bates-style headlight and Cateye tail light, X file horn, Biltwell Kung-fu grips and seat bracket, oil pressure gauge, magneto and the list goes on !!!

1926 BSA S26 and 1935 BSA 500 by Eric Steinhaus

Eric Steinhaus dropped in (on separate occasions) to show us his 1926 BSA S26 and 1935 BSA 500. Parts for these models are mostly non existent today so Eric searched hard. When parts could not be found, he made them himself or commissioned others to help. Eric has done a great job building these two lovely BSA's which he now maintains and rides regularly.
